Being-Lost Lost

09/13/2016

When you are lost,

you open to new perspectives

as you try to find your bearings.

Reorienting creates

new ways of seeing

and new paths:

you are lost

and,

anew,

you must find your way.

But what if you are lost

even to being lost,

no longer

seeking a destination?

Then, not comparing

where you are

to somewhere you want to be,

not seeing where you are

as a means

to get somewhere else,

simply seeing

what’s in front of you,

you are here.

(And all along,

even while making your way

somewhere,

it’s realized:

never are you not

here.)
